About Legacy Hill Homes
“We’re not here to build as many homes as possible. We’re here to build the right ones.”
Legacy Hill Homes was founded on a simple conviction: the land in Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina deserves better than what most builders are willing to give it. Better craftsmanship. Better design. Better stewardship.
We are two families — the Morse family and the Domas family — who chose to put down roots here. Not as a business calculation, but because we believe in this place. Our families first crossed paths in the Pacific Northwest more than twenty years ago. Providence brought us both to Upstate South Carolina — and Legacy Hill Homes is what happened next.
Our names go on every home we build, and we intend to be around long enough to stand behind them.
The Problem we’re solving
The production builder model is extractive. We built Legacy Hill as the alternative.
National builders come into a market, acquire as much land as possible, build with minimum-code materials and the cheapest available contractors, and take the profits out of state. The homes depreciate. The neighborhoods homogenize. The land — which took generations to develop — is consumed in a cycle that benefits no one who actually lives here.
We believe there is another way. We acquire land selectively, design every home to fit its specific site, and build with materials and tradespeople that we would stake our reputation on — because we are.
Why we build Spec Homes
You know exactly what you’re getting. So do we.

The Land we Seek
If you own land and care what happens to it, we want to meet you.
Some of our best relationships have started with a landowner — often someone who has held acreage for decades — who didn’t want to sell to a developer. We understand that. We share their concern about what gets built.
When we sit down with someone who cares deeply about their land, we find that we tend to arrive at the same place. A vision that honors what came before and builds something worth passing down. If that resonates with you, reach out.
The People behind the work
Two Families. One Standard
Legacy Hill Homes is built by two families — the Domas family and the Morse family — who have known each other for over twenty years and share a single standard: do what’s right, not what meets minimum code. Between us we bring a builder with more than 50 homes and 30 years of experience, a designer who selects every material and finish in every project, and two partners who believe deeply that this land and these communities deserve homes built to last generations. We’re not a company that will build your home and move on. We live here. Our kids are growing up here. We’re accountable in the way only neighbors can be.
